Town...

Me and www.ellagram.blogspot.co.uk have been in town quite a bit ago now...it was yesterday for me now when I'm writing this, but it will be different for you depending on when this post will go up.
We were planning to go into town with a bigger group of friends however that didn't work out, but we went on our own instead. It is always fun to arrange a town trip with your friends in the summer, because shopping together makes it better, and it's a fun day out! Mine and Elly's town trips are always incredibly long, we circle the shopping centre at least 10 times haha! We always like to grab some food when we get hungry and carry on. We went into topshop and tried on these big blue puffy dresses for the joke, it didn't fit me, I had to keep holding it up haha.
Here are a few photos we picked out from that day:
Jon Burgermans art outside urban outfitters.
This little garden patch in the town centre is a nice place to lay out a blanket and have a picnic, or just enjoy the sun.

Here you can see more of the grass and flowers.

We decided we liked most of the hats, so we tried them all on...I liked these the most
These hats are from newlook, I couldn't find this exact hat on the website, but here's a link to a quite similar one: http://www.newlook.com/shop/womens/accessories/stone-straw-band-trim-floppy-hat-_339503816

Neither of us had ever tried shake away, but outside their shop they were giving out free samples of their milkshakes/smoothies in little cups, we gave them a try, I took the skittle one, and Elly took a fudge one, they were both equally nice, and I would love to try out a full sized shake away.
Here someone was making a dog out of sand I thought it was quite cool.

I never came across that I would ever try on high waisted jeans or even like them, but Elly was trying them on in top shop, so I took random pair of the rail, and tried them on too. I must say I do like them very much, especially with the ripped knees, however I didn't purchase them.

This wasn't in town but me and Elly share a huge love for lipton ice tea, my personal favourite is the raspberry flavoured one. It's for me the best refreshing drink in the summer, and a turn on normal tea.

I really hope you have enjoyed my blog post today, it's something a bit different, but if you'd like me to do more of these types, please leave a comment down below, and give a follow to keep updated, thanks.

Summer playlist

Hey guys, for todays blog post I thought to share with you,my summer playlist 2015. Music is constantly changing with me, whenever I hear a song I really like, I re-play it, till I don't like it anymore. And I also struggle finding the song I like after hearing it on the radio, as I seem to never know the title to it, so I end up typing in all the lyrics I know into Google. So here I decided to share some songs I've been loving at the moment, in no particular order, even though they are numbered. Maybe they will give you inspiration for what to listen to...

1)Jasmine Thompson&Felix Jaehn - Ain't nobody.

2)Skrillex, Diplo, Justing Biber- Where are U now.

3)Little mix- Black magic.

4) 5th harmony- worth it.

5) Lost frequencies- Are you with me.

6) David Guetta, Nicki Minaj- Hey Mama.

7)Omi- Cheerleader.

8)Wiz Khalifa, Charlie Puth- See you again.

9) Dj Snake, Aluna George- You know you like it.

10) Major Lazor, Dj snake, MO- Lean on.

11)Sia- Elastic heart.

Flapjacks

I have recently had a craving for flapjacks! So I decided to browse different recipes from everywhere and kind of join them all together to create my own. I made flapjacks two days in a row, and they turned out to be really delicious, I will definitely be making them again when I can get my hands onto more oats and honey...
Enjoy!

Before I list the ingredients and the rough amount I usually use, I just want to say that I pour in the amount of honey, or oats or something from the eye, just until it looks good and the mixture is a good consistency.

Ingredients:
 250g of porridge oats.
100g of butter room temperature.
120g of sugar, any type.
Honey, which I don't have a measurement for, just pour it in, until your mixture is a nice wet mixture.

1)Preheat your oven to 200 degrees, fan oven.
2) Grease your baking tray, and put baking sheets onto it.
3)Take a large mixing bowl and put in all your ingredients.
4) Mix it all together with a wooden spoon.
5) Keep adding honey until your mixture is wet.
6) Using your hands, rub everything together, so all the butter disappears, and everything is well mixed.
7)Scoop your mixture out with a spoon onto your baking tray and spread it all out, so theres no gaps.
8) Put it into the oven onto the middle shelf.
9) Let bake for ten minuets; you won't be able to tell if it's ready  by touching it because it stays soft in the oven, however, it does change into a beautiful golden brown and the edges start slightly browning.
10)Take it out when assumed is ready, and let it cool for 15 minuets .
11)Once cool, cut it into pieces and place them all onto a plate.
12)Enjoy!!!
This was my flapjack. The size may vary from yours as I may have not used the exact amount of ingredients as above.

So cute.

Summer bucket list checklist

"watch the sunrise"

Good morning everyone! I finally woke up early enough to watch the sunrise, for my summer bucket list ! I think it was fairly worth it...I thought I might compare the sunrise to the sunset, so a few nights before, I took a photo of the sunset, and this morning the sunrise...

This was the sunrise a few nights ago, it"s a much more clearer photo than the sunrise.

This was the sunrise this morning, as you can see it isn't the best photo but I tried...through my blinds.

Over all I think I like sunsets better, as I think they are more colourful and beautiful, however I do like sunrises! Thanks for reading today's blog post! Goodbye for now! xxx

Summer bucket list checklist

"Visit a few museums."

Today me and Elly took a trip down to New Walk Museum,so another box ticked off my summer bucket list! New Walk Museum is full of dinosaurs, rocks, ancient Egypt, animals, and art galleries!
We had a lot of fun, and it was a nice day out.

This is the museum from the outside, I think it looks quite fancy ahaha!

My blog is being all weird again, and won't let me upload another photo so this is just it... But I do recommend to go and visit New walk museum in Leicester as it is really fun!
Thanks for reading my short blog post! See you next time! xxx

Baby lips review

Baby lips are lip balms produced by the company maybeline. You might have seen these colourful lip products in shops like superdrug and boots. There are the classic six lip balms and then you have the dr rescue ones and the neon baby lips, which I do not have.
Here are my baby lips:
I personally love baby lips and last year I had a phase when I wanted them all, and when I finally got them all, I was using them non stop day by day. You can find baby lips in your local drugstore, for roughly the price of £2.99 for one. I actually think they are overpriced by one pound, because they do run out quite quickly, and I think £2.00 would have been a more fair price for what they are, not forgetting, they are a fairly normal lip balm.
I am now going to give a brief review for each separate lip balm, counting down from six; my least favourite, to one; my favourite.

6. The intense care one [yellow] This baby lips I really like, but it has to go to the bottom of the list. This is the "intense care" baby lips, however I personally think it doesn't do any more magic than the rest, the smell is only slight, and all the rest are more powerful. I find that this particular baby lips dries up on my lips the fastest, maybe thats what it's meant to do, but I don't know. This baby lips is what I would apply at night for soft lips in the morning. However if you have really red dry lips that
feel like they are burning, I would recommend using vaseline instead, as I find baby lips are better use for protection.

 5. This number has to go to the mint fresh one {green} I just think the smell isn't amazing,it is really refreshing, but I probably use this one the least.

 4. 4 has to go to cherry me {red/orange one} this is just because I love the smell and the colour, but once it all goes it leaves my lips feeling really dry and peely.

3. Is the hydrate one {blue} it isn't really anything special, really similar to the classic nivea lip balm, but I just find this one gives me a soft finish to my lips.

2. Nearly first but not quite goes to the pink punch {pink} The smell is so nice, but I think the colour is so vibrant it has to be well applied.

1. And finally number one goes to the peach kiss {purple} That is because the smell is amazing, the lip balm leaves a really nice shimmering colour on the lips, and my lips look soft and healthy after use.

Unfortunately, I couldn't add a singular photo to each baby lips, because all the numbers got mixed up and the captions went everywhere, but there you go, my review, my biggest recommends are peach kiss {obviously} and actually the hydrate one, just to get used to most of their textures, from that you can go wherever you want! Here is a link to one place where you can purchase your baby lips, there is also an offer that may not last very long: http://www.boots.com/en/Maybelline-Baby-Lips-Lip-Balm_1365477/ Remember this is my opinion, so it could and probably does vary from yours.

Summer bucket list checklist

"Find a tree...perhaps in a park, and make it a friendship tree, try and visit it every day and climb it."

So the tree I found I don't think is necessarily a friendship tree, as I found it "on my own". However the tree is a beautiful wild cherry tree...I don't actually know the name of the tree but it grows wild cherries so there you go. Every time I now go to the park I will pick a cherry of, of it. If you have never had a wild cherry, they are quite bitter in taste and I'm not particularly fond of them.
I could not get my phone to focus properly, but here are the wild cherries.

If any of you are wondering if all I will be doing is blog posts on my summer bucket list...I am not, I will of course try to finish my bucket list however my blog will be linked to different things as well, such as what it says below my name. If you have any ideas for posts for my blog, feel free to comment down below.

Summer bucket list checklist

"Make a blanket fort."

Greetings, as you may know one of the things on my summer bucket list is to make/build a blanket fort. Which me and www.ellagram.blogspot.co.uk made just now. Blanket forts are really fun to make and when they are made they are fun to be in. They are your own cozy spot and den...

Our blanket fort looks like this:

We collected a lot of blankets and throws from around the house and to make the blankets stand up we tied them to the four corners of the bed with hair bobbles which surprisingly held it all together; also to make it slightly taller we put up a mini pink christmas tree in the middle. We also put lots of pillows around the interior of the bed to make it comfortable and cozy.
 The inside looked like this:

As you can see it is a really nice, bright and colourful...fairy lights will make any den better, however we didn't have any spare ones around.
We always enjoy watching youtube videos, but even a good movie would be ideal along with some yummy snacks, such as pitta pizza [recipe on sleepover blog post.]
Blanket forts can be used for sleepovers, movie fun, or just for the sake of building  a fort.
Thankyou for reading allyography bye for now xxx

I'll make sure to keep you updated on any further boxes I tick of my checklist, and I will try my best to find a way to see the sunrise and show you guys my sightings.

Summer bucket list checklist

"Have a sleepover with a friend, and make it the best one."

Hi Guys,

If you have been keeping up with my blog posts recently, you will know that I have a summer bucket list! This blog will be a quick update of my going's on, and as you can tell by the title, I'm hoping to tick two boxes on my list, the sunrise and the sleepover; which is being accomplished tonight. To celebrate our amazing accomplishment, we will show you some of our sleepover must haves, tricks, and tips!
Fairy lights add a magical, and warm atmosphere to the surrounding, and for us is a must have for any sleepover.

Food for sleepovers.
Am I the only one who has planned a sleepover, and forgot about what to eat? Yes probably...sometimes you may feel the need to buy tons of food for sleepovers, however this is not always the case. A lot of the food you buy will probably be left untouched and wasted. For a simple and quick way to make tasty food I like to make pita pizzas, which are fun to make and easy to prepare...all you need for this treat is:
pita bread-  Is a flat pale bread that originates from Greece and can be brought from most supermarkets.
cheese- Cheddar and pizza cheese are the best options.
tomato puree- an alternative for this is tomato sauce [ketchup] but from experience I prefer to use puree with herbs for a more flavourful taste.
topping of your choice- some examples could be mushrooms, hotdogs, peppers, and cherry tomatoes.

How To:

1. To start, get your tomato puree, and spread as evenly as possible on your pitta bread. Once you are satisfied with your level of tomato puree, and begin you grate your cheese. You may want to preheat the oven, I usually set the temperature to around 200 degrees fan oven.

2. Once you have enough cheese grated for your desired amount, spread the cheese as evenly as possible across your bread. REMEMBER, gaps you leave un cheesed will likely get burned!

3. When you are happy with your cheese distribution, you can start to put on some toppings.

4. After that, place your pitta pizzas into the oven, in the middle of the top shelf, and wait for a few minuets until a the cheese turns a golden brown.

Movies for sleepovers.

A common misconception of girls sleepovers is that we all watch chick flicks and bawl our eyes out over romantic movies, and spend ages our nails. Maybe some girls do, but not us! We actually love watching fast paced, and action full movies; but we are still quite fussy deciding...
Limitless is a movie we had both watched before however it never gets old, and I recommend it. Honestly it's a difficult film to describe i'll leave you the trailer- https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=THE_hhk1Gzc. The film can currently be found on Netflix.

Time fillers.

At quite a few of the sleepovers I have been to there has been long periods of awkward silence, that horrible annoying moment when your out of ideas of things to do. I hate these times, but I myself have my own ways to help keep the fun going!

1. Apples! As strange as it sounds, apples are known to give you a boost of energy, and keep you awake longer, so I have heard... Usually when sleepovers go south, its because you are all tired and have lost interest. A boost in energy, keeps you awake, and you get the picture...

2. Watching videos of your own choice on youtube, making sure everyone enjoys.

Zoella's videos are our favourites, hauls and collabs, are what we enjoy watching.

3. Truth and dare... a sleepover classic, but always a fun and exciting game to play.

So thats the sleepover ticked off the list, I hope this blog post has given you some ideas for a great night. if your wondering who I'm actually having my sleepover with is www.ellagram.blogspot.co.uk make sure to click the link and read her blog! Tomorrow morning we will be waking up super early 4:58 to be precise, to watch the sunrise, stay tuned for photos and updates.

Summer bucket list checklist.

On my previous post; which was a summer bucket list, I put obviously the things i wanted to do this summer. So I also decided not to leave it there, I'm going to carry on and make a 'series' of my bucket list showing you photos of the things that I have done, and tutorials/recipes. These posts will be going up randomly through the next few weeks.

"Bake the best cupcakes with a friend."

They weren't as bad as they look...We didn't only make five haha.
As you can see we did bake some cupcakes, they were necessarily the best cupcakes,[they weren't slightly burnt, and runny] but oh well we gave it a go, after having knocked over two jars of paprika onto the floor...
I thought to give you guys a recipe for these delicious, fluffy, vanilla cupcakes:
Ingredients for the cupcake batter:
150g of butter [room temp]
150g of flour
150g of caster sugar
1 egg
And vanilla essence[ a couple of drops depending on how strong you want the vanilla taste to be.
Basically put all the ingredients together, adding the essence at the end; mixing everything with a wooden spoon until you get a smooth batter. Fill paper cupcake holders with the batter, you will get 6-9 cupcakes. Place into the oven in 180 degrees fan oven, and let bake for 10-20 mins, checking on them.
 The butter icing:
Add 110g of butter room temp, and 500g of icing sugar into a large mixing bowl, also add some vanilla extract again you can add as many drops as you like, depending on how strong you want it to be.
Then whisk it with an electric whisk or a hand whisk, until you get a smooth mixture. Gradually pour milk if you need it to loosen up the mixture, however that is not essential.
Once the butter icing is made, place in the fridge so it is not that runny, and once the cupcakes are made, let them cool down.
Once everything is ready put the butter icing on to the cakes and add sprinkles.

"learn to do three walkovers in a  row under water."

I actually accomplished this yesterday and was extremely prod of myself ahaha.

Good bye for now! Thanks for reading Allyography, see you next time.

My Summer bucket list 2015

My blog isn't fully set up but I wanted a blog post to go up. I am on my last week of school this week...a sense of relief&relaxation, and it also means summer! Me and my friend have decided to make a summer bucket list this year; I made one last year however it didn't quite work out. This year we decided to make a bucket list of things we really want to get done, so our summer feels well spent and accomplished:
we were cool with our tattoos and face paints on the 3rd July
- make a cool outdoor den
as we did this last year we want to keep this as a tradition. Last years den was so cool, not gonna lie.
we even made a scissor holder...

-find a small wild animal outside, could even be a ladybird, make it a habitat and keep it for a day.
-visit a few museums.
On school trips visiting  museums  was my favourite. There are some that can be explored for free.
-go on a long run with a friend
long runs can be a rewarding time, why not bring a friend along.
-find a tree perhaps in a park and make it a friendship tree, try and visit it everyday and climb it.
"thats our friendship tree" we said whilst taking a trip down memory lane in primary school.
-have a picnic in a park
a simple thing to do, but something a bit different for a nice lunch.
-learn to do three walkovers in a row underwater
I recently taught myself to do one walkover underwater in a leisure centre, but three in a row I would love to do that.
-have a sleepover with a friend and make it the best one.
-go stargazing in your garden
you know...its that thing they always do in movies.
-go on a long bike ride and get ice-cream.
- go to the library regularly and borrow plenty of books to read over the summer.
I love to read, but I'm that person that needs a really gripping book, i'd love to explore different variations of genres.
-have a huge water fight
-bake the best cupcakes with a friend.
we didn't make these, but they were delicious!
- watch the sunrise.
-learn to play a song on the keyboard
I cannot play any songs on the keyboard, and whenever I try to learn i don't have the patience to carry on, this summer I will learn to play at least one song.
-spend the whole day outside
and I mean the whole day from sunrise to sunset, make the most of the sun.
-make a blanket fort
already talked about an outside den, what about when it rains, a cozy inside blanket fort would be the best, you could even have sleepovers in it.
-make memories and have fun
Make the most of summer 2015.
